Very nice-Some nostalgic details can be seen from the game if you have watched the first alien movie -Mini games from hacking doors\/computers are actually fun. I liked the retro kind of style in it.-Crafting materials from this game is uniquely designed.-Never encountered bugs ( for me at least) However...During my playthrough, there is actually one thing that has been bothering me:- Human AI are sometimes blind af(there are times that ai would completely "ignore" you if you just crouch even on plain sight) but still, i got to say that the story was well delivered. A Solid 10!. The game looks great. The atmosphere is spectacular. The story and voice acting are pretty good. However, the mechanics of the game do not work. There is no rhyme or reason for why you are attacked by the alien. Reading these other reviews it seems like people are playing a different game where the alien's behavior has some sort of logic.I would be slowly, methodically, and carefully moving through an area and the alien would pop out of the ceiling and insta-kill me. This happened a LOT. So much that it removed all tension from the experience. Halfway through I lost all sense of dread because I knew that I would randomly die. There didn't seem to be a way to prevent it, so there was no reason to be fearful of it. I was only able to complete the game through luck. If you enjoy having enemies teleport behind you and watching death animations over and over then you will like this game. Otherwise, just go watch the original movie. It is a much better experience.. Now just waiting for a Jurassic Park version of this game. This was a great game to play through. I don't really know what makes me love this game so much. But I really did enjoy playing it and enjoyed the games atmosphere. This game is really fun10\/10. A fan of the Alien film(s) and the classic Alien games, this game with headphones and really good speakers up to the highest volume increases the immersion of being scared of the xenomorph. You do get a little use to it running around but depending on the difficulty depends on how violent the alien is, harder the more violent the easier the less violent. I will keep replaying this over and over just because it has always been a game I always wanted to play when I was young. Yes it is hide and seek but what do you expect when you're not millitary but an engineer wanting to find out what has happened to your mother.. As someone who loves the original Alien movie this game does a fantastic job of taking the original aesthetic and building on it. Just like the movie this game becomes incredibly desperate as plan after plan is ruined by panicking humans, the menacing Working Joe androids and the Alien itself. The game forces you to be brave too. You can hide for a while but the Alien is really thorough when its senses you and much quicker than you are. The slightest bit of noise and it will be on you in seconds in the most horrifying ways. It may look like an action shooter to some because it has grenades and guns but it really isn't. It's old-school horror.. Played on Novice and died 1,999,999 times. Good game--nice graphics, very absorbing. Story is predictable, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of it.. This game is one of the few games that I can't actually continue. It is so unbelievably terrifying that I have only played for 4 hours on the survival mode. I have gone trough so many pairs of underwear it is embarrassing, but all in all, really well done game. <3<3 8====D <3<3 420\/69
